Lots of varied obsticals from jumping on platforms, dodging thwomps, staying away from flames, and dodging fireballs. There are a few obstacle course-type mini-games thoughout Mario Party, but this one was always near the top for me.
This is a Bowser mini-game, so if you actually get into the actual game in Mario Party, you're playing for all your coins or sometimes even stars. NUMBER 4: FUNSTACLE COURSE! FROM MARIO PARTY 7 The Super Mario 64 reference gets bonus points from me, too. It's a duel mini-game, so you can only have 2 players. I guess my only complaint is that they didn't make it a 4-player minigame.
In Hot Rope Jump, you're jumping over a flaming jump rope, while in this game, you're clearly on a clock jumping over the hands. I know this is pretty similar to Hot Rope Jump, but there is one enormous difference between these two games. The game starts off pretty boring with the hands moving so slowly, but once it gets going it really becomes frantic fun. NUMBER 5: TICK TOCK HOP FROM MARIO PARTY 3 I went ahead and played every Mario Party that has been released on consoles, 1-9, and I've played every mini-game from every game with a few friends, and I've come up with my top five best and worst Mario Party mini-games. While the actual party mode was fun, I think most people remember the mini-games, so that is what the focus of this top ten list will be. So simple, yet so fun- for the most part, you know, when your friends aren't being total dicks. If you've read my "Top Ten Most Annoying Things People Do While Playing Video Games Online", you probably think I hate all these games, but I've actually had a lot of fun with them.
